Not really sure how they differentiate between HP and Compaq, but this is clearly labeled Compaq. Very nice screen and colors. Very easy to setup, not overly loaded with crapware. Used mostly for emails and previewing images on SD cards. Very fast even looking at large jpegs and raw files. The wireless grabbed my inhome router effortlessly. Battery life seems to be at least 3 - 4 hours.
